Hoofdredacteuren zijn striptekenaar en vormgever Joost Swarte en uitgever Hansje Joustra van Scratch Books (voorheen Oog&amp;Blik).<\/p>\n<p><em>Scratches<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span>publiceert werk van gevestigde \u00e9n opkomende Nederlandse, Vlaamse en internationale tekenaars.<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Het eerste nummer bevat nieuw of ongepubliceerd werk van de top van de internationale stripwereld. Daarnaast bevat het eerste nummer drie achtergrondartikelen over grootheden uit het illustratievak en wegbereiders van de strip: de Nederlandse underground-tekenaar Mark Smeets (1942-1999), Belgische houtsnedekunstenaar Frans Masereel (1889-1972) en de Spaanse grafisch ontwerper Manolo Prieto (1912-1991).
